A partnership that helps others and so much more

Partnering with us provides an opportunity to help people  in many different ways. Working with our corporate partners, we are able to offer a vital life line for many more people as the funds we raise from your generous donations, go to support communities across the UK. We are also leading the way with textile reuse and recycling and offer a range of  solutions that can help organisations achieve their sustainable obligations and aspirations.

Sustainable solutions

We recognise how important it is to support our partners with professional and reliable services. That’s why we invest in world-class logistics and processing, as well as innovative recycling technologies. Our colleagues are experts in their field and specialise in all areas of textile reuse and recycling, and over-stock management.

A trusted charity partner

We maintain the highest ethical standards and service levels in every aspect of our work. Our team really understand the importance of protecting your brand, from delivering efficient clothing bank collection services to sustainably managing corporate stock donations – we take care of every detail.

Transforming lives in the community

We have a ‘help others’ approach to everything we do. In addition to the funds we raise for our parent charity, colleagues in our Central Support and Processing Centres, as well as our Collectors and shop teams, work closely with Salvation Army colleagues and community projects across the UK offering direct support.

World-first textile recycling

In 2023, we announced our new venture known as Project Re:claimTM – the world’s first textile polyester recycling technology that will take worn (post-consumer) garments and recycle them back into reusable materials at commercial scale. In partnership with corporate workwear specialist Project Plan B, our textile recycling centre is due to start operations in January 2024 and complements our existing FibersortTM technology – the only automated facility for sorting garments by their fibre type. Fibersort is the first step in textile-to-textile recycling and, last year, we sorted over 500,000 worn-out items using this new technology.

Every donation makes a difference

We always provide for those in need first and each year we distribute tens of thousands of donated goods, at no cost, directly to people through our shops, via our parent charity or other charities and community groups that come to us for help. This is in addition to the millions of pounds we raise each year for The Salvation Army and  this help is only possible through the generous donations from our corporate partners and members of the public.

Trust in us

We take the responsibility of repurposing the donations we receive from members of the public and our partners seriously. SATCoL has led the way in raising standards across the textiles reuse and recycling sector. Items we are not able to sell in our shops are sold to trusted companies, ensuring that second-hand items are made available at affordable prices wherever they are most needed or are recycled for other purposes. We undertake regular Code of Conduct audits with our partners and we are a founder member of TRUST.
